He became the Director of Admissions for Middle and Upper Schools and then Assistant Head of School for Enrollment, Admissions, and Community. In 2018 and 2019, under David’s leadership, the Marvelwood basketball program reached new heights, earning consecutive invitations to the NEPSAC Class D Tournament, for the first time in school history. He was also a top three finalist as voted by his coaching peers for NEPSAC Class D Coach Of The Year in 2018 and 2019. David enjoys playing basketball, being with family and friends, mentoring young men from underserved communities, and rooting for all things Pittsburgh, as well as the Cleveland Cavaliers. David is excited to be a part of the Phelps community as an Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach and as a dorm parent in Beattie Hall.
