Scholarships

At Phelps, we are proud to offer an intense and supportive curriculum to a diverse population of learners. To do so, we are committed to providing financial aid packages that support the talents of our students, as well as the financial needs of their families.

All families who are interested in need-based assistance must complete the Financial Aid application located on the NAIS School & Student Services website.

In addition to need-based financial aid, the following scholarships and grants are available to qualifying students:

Koenig Grant (for Day Students) – While tuition at Phelps is one of the best values in the area, the Koenig Grant can help families who may otherwise have difficulty meeting the financial requirements of private school education, and is part of our long-standing commitment to support the local community.

Paragon Scholarship – This scholarship is given to a domestic student who best embodies the School’s five Affirmations of Power: I think Positively, I serve Others, I seek Wisdom, I pursue Excellence and I live Responsibly.

Founders Scholarship – In an effort to encourage cross-cultural understanding and global relationships, this scholarship program draws academically-talented young men from around the world to enhance our educational environment. Performance on the SSAT will be considered when awarding this scholarship.

*Please note that the SSAT is not a requirement for admission to The Phelps School, but is required for consideration in our scholarship programs. If you have any questions regarding Financial Aid at Phelps, please contact the Admissions Office at 610-644-1754. The Phelps School SSAT code is 5759.
